We are pleased to announce that PurerAir has been officially approved to join the Google Cloud for Startups Program, a significant milestone that strengthens our technical capabilities and underscores our position within the air quality technology sector.
What This Means for PurerAir
$200,000 in Google Cloud credits
This support will provide substantial cost savings as we prepare to launch our platform and upload our indoor air quality dataset beginning in September. Leveraging Google Cloud infrastructure ensures our data processing and storage will be both scalable and secure, enabling us to focus on innovation and impact.
A strong endorsement from Google
Approval for the program required a detailed review of our technical specifications and product roadmap. This endorsement validates the strength of our approach, the quality of our technical planning, and the long-term scalability of our solution.
Strategic relevance in the air quality sector
Google’s interest in air quality innovation is well established, highlighted by their acquisition of BreezoMeter, an Israeli startup focused on outdoor environmental data, for approximately €250 million. While BreezoMeter’s expertise is in outdoor monitoring, PurerAir is dedicated to indoor commercial environments, an area that is both critical to public health and underserved in the current market.
Looking Ahead
Joining the Google Cloud for Startups Program provides more than just cloud credits. It offers us the technical foundation, strategic validation, and industry alignment needed to scale our vision. This support will help accelerate our progress toward creating a transparent, decentralised, and reliable indoor air quality monitoring solution.
We look forward to sharing further updates as we approach the September launch of our dataset and continue building towards our mission: making clean air measurable, transparent, and accessible for all.
